An NBC White House correspondent was promptly shut-down by Polish officials during a joint press conference between President Trump and the President of Poland; stopping the journalist mid-sentence as she ignored protocol and fired off multiple questions.
“Will you once and for all, yes or no, definitively say that Russia interfered in the 2016 election?” asked NBC White House correspondent Hallie Jackson.
“Well I think it was Russia, and I think it could have been other people in other countries,” responded the President, adding that former President Obama knew about the allegations for months but refused to act.
“Why did he do nothing about it?” asked the President.
Jackson pressed on, questioning the President over whether he agreed with the consensus of the intelligence community that definitively named Russia as the source behind the election intrusion.
After a brief back and forth, the NBC correspondent continued to pose questions to the world leaders, prompting Polish officials to shut-down the journalist and abruptly end the press conference.
“Dear Lady, Two questions. Two questions,” said Polish authorities. “Dear Lady. Thank you very much, thank you very much, you must go. You must go. Dear Lady, thank you very much.”
