De Niro: U.S. Is Suffering From ‘Temporary Insanity’

Actor Robert De Niro offered more evidence that elites in Hollywood are out of touch with the American public Sunday when he trashed the United States while giving a speech on climate change in the Middle East.

Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, De Niro took shots at the Trump administration’s position on climate change, telling the crowd that he was visiting from a “backward” country suffering from “temporary insanity.”

“I am talking about my own country, the United States of America. We don’t like to say we are a ‘backward’ country so let’s just say we are suffering from a case of temporary insanity,” he said, according to Fox News.

The actor also said that the United States “will eventually cure itself by voting our dangerous leader” out of office.

It’s just like a coward to travel overseas and bash America. He knows he has freedom of speech in the United States to say what he pleases — and he’s done it freely. But doing it overseas gives the impression he’s being brave to criticize the government when exactly the opposite is true. He’s just fitting in with the rest of his Hollywood crowd.

Just to make it clear, this country is not suffering from a case of temporary insanity.

The American public can speak for itself, and did so when it voted to put Donald Trump in the White House. They did not listen to people who play make-believe before the election, and they are not listening to them now.

De Niro — and the rest of liberal Hollywood — is still bitterly angry that Trump won the election and does not seem to understand that we don’t always get what we want. However, unlike most mature adults, De Niro is wallowing in anger because his choice for president did not win the 2016 election — and we can all be thankful for that.

But instead of being a grown-up, De Niro would rather disrespect the presidency and insult the American people.

It is just like Democrats to allow themselves to be consumed by blind hatred. It has been over a year since the election, and De Niro just cannot seem to accept reality.

The majority of the American people, under the Constitution established by the Founding Fathers, made Trump the president, no matter how much De Niro and Hollywood might not like it.

Check out this rant that De Niro gave at the National Board of Review in New York in January. He’s clearly living in a fantasy world:

It looks like De Niro needs help:

Talk about temporary insanity.

The left has provided us endless examples of what temporary insanity looks like, and it it not pretty.

We do not need the likes of De Niro jetting around the globe belittling our president or our country on foreign soil. Former President Barack Obama did his fair share of that, and it was just as embarrassing then as it is now.

The only thing that needs curing is the left’s twisted belief that Trump is ruining this country. It is more apt to say that liberal-infested Hollywood is closer to ruining this country than anything else. Hollywood needs to “cure” its own problems, of which there are many, before it tries to fix the rest of the word.

De Niro, whose best known work recently involves criticizing the president and making an all-around fool of himself, needs to find another way to channel his hatred.

  1. Yeah. Well. DeNiro needs to take a look at some of his own Delray Beach and Boca Raton mafia relatives before he calls Mr. Trump (who has no mafia relatives) a punk and a pig. Takes one to know one, right Robert?
